Nantucket Blue Wrapped Necklace

This necklace set is is reminiscent of a New England beach in the early morning. Blue and white tones predominate suffused with a soft apricot glow. The focal bead for this necklace is a gorgeous Biwa pearl. To create the necklace, an armature for the central curve of the necklace is first forged and hammered of very heavy sterling silver wire. A selection of pearls, Murano glass, blue lace agate, moonstone, and shells are then wrapped onto the armature. The chain and clasp are handmade.
